Dr. Megan Connolly
Meg graduated from medical school in Hobart in 1994. After working for a year in Tasmania she relocated to Sydney and commenced anaesthetics training at St Vincents and Prince of Wales Hospitals. In 2000 she travelled to Dublin, Ireland and continued her training, working there for 3 years extensively in intensive care and anaesthesia before returning to Sydney in 2003. She completed her anaesthetics training at St George Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, specialising in Obstetric, Vascular and Liver/renal transplant anaesthesia. She also spent 6 months at Westmead Childrens Hospital working in paediatric anaesthesia. Meg returned to Tasmania in 2006 to take up a position as a Staff Specialist at Royal Hobart Hospital and joined the Hobart Anaesthetic Group as a Locum Anaesthetist in 2009. She has an interest in obstetric, vascular and trauma anaesthesia . Outside of medicine, Meg enjoys running, travelling and spending time with her growing family in the great outdoors.
