Dr. Tom Mohler

Dr. Tom Mohler qualified at The University of Tasmania in 1989. Initially he trained as a general practitioner in the Northern Territory and South Australia. This led to starting anaesthesia training in the UK prior to commencing his Fellowship in Anaesthesia in Australia. Upon completion he spent two years at The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne developing his interest in Paediatric Anaesthesia. Outside private practice Tom spends the remainder of his professional working life working at The Royal Hobart Hospital and in developing countries. Special interests include paediatric anaesthesia, procedural ultrasound including peri-operative echocardiography and anaesthesia in the developing world. He recently completed his Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Ultrasound through The University of Melbourne. He is a final part examiner for The Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
