Dr. Tom Mohler

Dr. Tom Mohler qualified at the University of Tasmania in 1989.  Initially he trained as a general practitioner in the Northern Territory and South Australia. This led to starting anaesthesia training in the UK prior to commencing his Fellowship in Anaesthesia in Australia.  Upon completion, he spent two years at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne developing his interest in Paediatric Anaesthesia. 

Outside private practice Tom spends the remainder of his professional life working at the Royal Hobart Hospital and in developing countries.  Special interests include paediatric and neonatal anaesthesia, procedural ultrasound and acute pain management.  At present he is studying towards a Diploma in Clinical Ultrasound.  He is a final part Examiner for the College of Anaesthetists.
